Plantation is a gated golf and water
community enjoyed by all ages, but
especially by those of us who are over 50.
Nestled amid live oak trees along Lake
Marion, Wyboo Plantation is a boating,
fishing and golfing playground where
neighbors from all over the US come
together to make a wonderful community.
Miles of tree lined private streets allow
walking, hiking, and biking; green space
and lots of old trees shelter wildlife
including deer and wild turkeys; lighted
tennis courts are a frequent gathering
place; and the Community Center has an
outdoor pool, interior game room, large
meeting area with a dance floor, fully
equipped kitchen, fitness room and a
lending library. There are clubs and
organizations, both social and charitable,
which use our Center regularly. In addition
to Lake Marion and the Santee Cooper
Lakes system--which can be traveled all
the way to Charleston, the Intercoastal
Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean--Wyboo
Plantation boasts three interior lakes, boat
slip marinas, a community garden, and an
18 hole championship golf course. Wyboo
