The Players Course at Wyboo |
With our wonderful weather, you can play golf year round on The Players Course, the 18 hole PGA sanctioned golf course, designed by Tom Jackson, that winds through Wyboo Plantation and along both Lake Marion and Lake Arbu. Golf club membership is affordable but not mandatory. For a resident family, the initiation fee is currently approximately $1000, and the monthly green fees, plus a trail fee if you own your own cart, are under $200 per month. The Wyboo Golf Club, across the street from Wyboo Plantation, also welcomes membership and is similarly priced. Both golf courses offer very reasonable walk-in rates, as do the other excellent courses in our area. Enjoyable for golfers at all playing levels, each course is distinctly different from the other. Both golf courses have clubhouses, putting greens, driving ranges and full-service pro shops with snack bars. We have several golf leagues for men, women, couples and seniors, with rotating teams and a variety of play formats. We also have several charity golf tournaments that raise money and awareness for causes that are important to our residents. The Players Course at Wyboo is a par 72 Course. The Gold Course is 72.2/131/6969. The Blue Course is 68.8/123/6420. The White Course is 67.2/115/6062 and the Red Course is 68.3/111/5378. |
